Getting your jewelry organized and appraised

Now that the holidays are over, its a good time to take inventory of your jewelry, especially if you're crazy about jewelry, and get it organized. I recommend you put your rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces together and see what you have. This is also the time to review your insurance policy and be sure your valuable things are insured. Since metals and gemstones have increased in value, if your insurance values are more than two years old, they are too low.
