I viewed the Elizabeth Taylor Jewelry Collection in LA two months ago while it was on
tour. She was an expert in acquiring the most jewelry in the world. Each person
that loved her gave her precious jewelry and she loved it all. Jewelry has the ability
to encompass love, admiration, and respect and carry it on to several generations.
If you look down at your jewelry, be sure to realize that the next person that inherits
it will treasure it as much or more than you do now.

Getting your jewelry organized and appraised

Now that the holidays are over, its a good time to take inventory of your jewelry, especially if you're crazy about jewelry, and get it organized. I recommend you put your rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces together and see what you have. This is also the time to review your insurance policy and be sure your valuable things are insured. Since metals and gemstones have increased in value, if your insurance values are more than two years old, they are too low. Send in any questions you might have about having your jewelry reappraised and happy new year!

The hearts belonged to her grandmother and she wanted to add one of our Heartbeat of El Paso charms on it because she loves El Paso! We were honored to be chosen to be a part of the bracelet we restyled for her that she cherishes every day.

Lets say you have an old, out of style ring with lots of diamonds that you never wear. Your mother gave it to you before she died, so it means a lot to you...but you never wear it!

One of our special customers brought in a beautiful aquamarine to set in a pendant. Neither she nor her Mom ever enjoyed it as a pin and it sat in their drawers, never worn. Here's what I mean...one of my customers bought this coin pendant while on a trip and then realized it was too large for her neck. She brought it in this Christmas and we cut it down, redesigned the outside shape, added a new chain, and she loves it now!
